Scope of Work

Cambrian Forum is an independent brand identity design studio presented as a living editorial archive. A compact hand-drawn mark, restrained typography, and a shifting halftone field give the portfolio a recognizable presence without competing with the work it holds.

Process

Idea

The name brings together change and exchange: Cambrian as a period of expanding visual life, forum as a place where ideas are made public. That tension shapes the system. Organic distortion sits beside a strict six-column grid; a small emblem holds its ground against large fields of image and empty space.

Behaviour

The website extends the identity as an experience rather than a brochure. Projects remain the primary navigation, the gallery behaves like an adjustable viewing room, and motion is used sparingly to reveal relationships between archive, image, and text.
